For all those who have been waiting, it’s finally here!  Shopkick is now available for Android!  We’ve been working long hours and weekends to get it out for you guys to enjoy in time for the holidays.  Happy shopping!

This week we feature a mom and son with a great sense of humor that love to compete with each other in shopkick! They are a military family, stationed in Texas at the moment, and like to use shopkick  everywhere they go.

When asked about what they like about shopkick, they say

The free items, of course ;) And the new levels, collections and badges. We argue about who drives when we go places as a family because the one not driving gets all the check-ins and #1 fans first. My son and I love this game. We are in constant competition with each other as to who levels up first and who can be the #1 fan at new places.

This week we feature Deb from Pennsylvania!  Deb is one busy lady- she’s a proud mom of four, a loving wife, she works in design in the manufacturing world and also helps do whatever it takes to help her advertising business succeed with her husband. 

When asked about shopkick, Deb says

Almost every Saturday my husband and I run errands, go out to eat, shop, etc.  So he drives, and I’m the passenger - collecting kickbucks galore!!  : )  It’s a win-win situation!  I have also been known to go to a store JUST to scan for items, to get more kickbucks - the local drug store, best buy, wherever I’m near at the time!  The double scan bonus’s are GREAT by the way, they make those bucks add up quick!

I love the ease of the app, I love the rewards, I love the never ending bubbles to click on!!  : )  But I also love helping others, as in the cause rewards.  To date I have helped donate 124 meals, cared for an abused animal 127 times, and helped to fight cancer 78 times!  I am also a huge fan of CauseWorld - and to date have donated almost 5000 karmas!  

When I first discovered shopkick a few months back, my first stop was to Best Buy to try the check in option.  I later found out that PA stores are not equipped for this yet, which is no problem - but it was so funny trying to get someone at that store to even understand what I was trying to do with this app!  The young man that tried to help “thought” he knew what I was trying to do - but instead had me sign up for Best Buys reward card, lol - cuz he was SURE I needed one of those to make my app work, lol!! But anyway - it was funny, to he and I, the endeavor I was on - to “check in” and use my bonus check-ins!  It was priceless!

I use shopkick everywhere!!! At home- out shopping- at work! It’s a really app to use so it makes it so simple to be able to use it and still complete whatever I am working on. 

I like the ability to find new places near where ever I am at that moment and I like the ability to save up my kickbucks to buy things I have been wanting for a long time. Currently I am saving up to buy a DSLR camera.
I also like the fact that its a fun way to “check in to” places with out broadcasting to the world where I am. 

My son, Teagan, also loves to “shopkick”. He knows how to open the app and what to click on. When he gets a bonus he says, “OH BONUS MOMMY”. I am working on teaching him to scan items.
